A non-coder's notes on figuring things out, one mistake at a time.
I'm Jayaprakash Sampath. I run Kariyamangalam Technologies and New Projects Tracker — basically, tools that help people track capex and infrastructure projects across India.
Here's the thing though — I'm not a coder. Never was. Couldn't write a line of code if you paid me. But lately, with a ridiculous amount of patience and an AI doing most of the heavy lifting, I've actually been building stuff myself. Websites, tools, even this blog you're reading right now.
If you've got a problem you have a feeling AI could solve, but no idea where to start — that's pretty much my situation every other week too. Happy to think it through with you if that's ever useful. No pitch, just a conversation.
So that's what this space is for — writing about that process as it happens. No "10 lessons I learned" listicles, no pretending I know what I'm doing. Just the real mess of it — the errors that make no sense, the permission issues, that one moment when something finally works after failing five times in a row.
If you're non-technical too and curious about building things, or you just enjoy watching someone stumble through it in public — welcome aboard.
Thanks for stopping by.
